Launchpad 2022
Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) and NIFD (International Institute of Fashion Design) have partnered to create the LFW NIFD Launchpad. This platform is designed to provide a launchpad for emerging designers to showcase their work and gain exposure in the fashion industry. As part of the LFW NIFD Launchpad, selected designers are given the opportunity to present their collections on the runway at LFW, and receive mentorship and support from industry professionals. The LFW NIFD Launchpad aims to promote and nurture new talent in the fashion industry, and help emerging designers to establish their careers.
Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) is a bi-annual fashion event held in Mumbai, India. It is organized by Lakmé, a cosmetics and beauty brand, and IMG Reliance, a fashion event management company. LFW showcases the work of Indian designers, both established and up-and-coming, and features a mix of runway shows, exhibitions, and other events. It is considered one of the premier fashion events in India, and attracts a large number of fashion industry professionals, media, and celebrities. The event is held in the winter and summer seasons each year.
